The Greek SCT Additional Optional Service (AOS)

1.The Greek character set

Banks operating in Greece consider essential for cultural and political reasons to continue supporting Greek character set for SEPA SCT messages, as follows:
DIAS is supporting a multilateral agreement which permits to every SEPA bank who will become member of the multilateral agreement:
a) To support Greek character set for exchanged SEPA SCT messages between banks who are members of the aforementioned multilateral agreement and
b) To support Latin character set (as defined in the Implementation Guidelines of SEPA SCT & SEPA SDD) for exchanged SEPA SCT messages between any SEPA bank.

The Characters supported by Greek character set are:

DIAS Usage Rules

Usage rule for Instructing Agent and Instructed Agent.

Sending Institution uses only Instructing Agent in group level, while the Receiving Instruction receives Instructing Agent in detail level and Instructed Agent in group level.
