Ms. Agelada studied Business Administration at the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB), while at the same time she specialized in Human Resources Management (MSc), graduating with distinction from the same university.

She received a Personal & Executive Coaching diploma, approved by the International Coaching Federation (ICF).

Ms Maria Agelada is an active member of the Greek People Management Association (GPMA), and the “Women HR Leaders” Circle, of the Non-Profit Organization Lean In, that aims to further empower the Greek female community of HR executives. Since January 2023, she has taken over the financial management as a member of the Board of Directors (BoD) of the Non-Profit Organization “No Mobbing”, which deals with raising awareness about the prevention of the phenomenon of moral harassment in the workplace.

She has completed more than fifteen years of professional experience in the Greek market, and until recently, she worked at OpenBet, a Member of the Endeavor Multinational Group, where she held the position of Senior HR Business Partner since 2015. Among her responsibilities there, she actively supported the development of the Athens office, which is the largest sportsbook branch in the Europe Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region.
