INTERBANKING SYSTEMS (DIAS) S.A CEO, Ms Stavroula Kampouridou elected to the Board of Directors of the European Automated Clearing House Association (EACHA)

The CEO of Interbanking Systems (DIAS) S.A., Ms Stavroula Kampouridou, was elected on May 15, 2025 as a member of the newly appointed five-member Board of Directors (BoD) of the European Automated Clearing House Association (EACHA) for the 2025–2027 term, following a formal election process.

This marks the first time Greece is represented on EACHA’s Board, during crucial time for payment infrastructures, such as those offered by DIAS S.A., which are being recognized as critical infrastructure, since the transition towards adopting instant payments accelerates, with the goal of further strengthening European sovereignty in the payments ecosystem.

EACHA, which now includes 29 members from across Europe, is the leading network for cooperation and interoperability among European Automated Clearing Houses (ACHs). Founded in 2006, EACHA plays a strategic role in harmonizing technical standards, supporting the Single Euro Payments Area (SEPA), and ensuring interoperability in the European payments market.

Commenting on her election, Interbanking Systems (DIAS) S.A. CEO, Ms Stavroula Kampouridou stated:

“This election not only reflects DIAS S.A., but the entire Greek payments ecosystem. It marks a strategic moment of extroversion for Greece, which now has a strong presence where the future of European payments is being co-shaped.
As ACH-type infrastructures are increasingly enhanced with Account-to-Account instant payment services, our active participation in EACHA is both an opportunity and a responsibility.
We are called upon to contribute to the shaping of a Europe characterized by technological self-sufficiency, interoperable infrastructures, and true sovereignty in the field of electronic payments.”
