Instant account-to-account money transfers (Account-to-Account)
IRIS payments® is DIAS’ interbank service for instant account-to-account money transfers (Account-to-Account). The infrastructure that supports the service is based on the rules of the European SEPA Instant Credit Transfer payment scheme, offering a high level of reliability and speed.
Daily transactions
The IRIS payments® service, which is available through the Banks or Payment Service Providers participating in the DIAS Payment System, ensures instant crediting 24/7/365, with speed, security and ease of use for the end user.
The IRIS payments service consists of three innovative and reliable instant payment products: IRIS Person-to-Person for payments between individuals, IRIS Person-to-Professionals for payments to self-employed professionals or sole proprietorships, and IRIS Commerce for the purchase of goods and services, both online and at physical points of sale.
More specifically, through IRIS payments® you can:
Transfer up to €1,000 per day from your mobile
You can transfer up to €500 to an individual and up to €500 to professionals & sole proprietorships.
You only need to know the recipient’s mobile phone number when sending money to an individual, or their Tax Identification Number (AFM) / mobile phone number when sending money to self-employed professionals and sole proprietorships. Alternatively, you can scan the recipient’s IRIS QR code.
Receive up to €500 per day as an individual
In this case, the sender does not need to know your IBAN. It is sufficient to know your mobile phone number.
Receive payments as a self-employed professional or sole proprietorship, without limits
You can receive payments to your business account without amount restrictions.
Make purchases at physical and online stores with direct debit to your account
You can pay for your purchases in physical and online stores with instant debiting of your bank account.
