DIAS has been certified according to the International Business Continuity Standard ISO 22301:2019 by TUV HELLAS, a certification and inspection body, 100% subsidiary of the German TUV NORD Group. The certification covers the full range of DIAS's operations with a particular focus on the provision of payment system services.

The certification assures that the company employs a fully documented, functional and tested Business Continuity System, which is activated in cases of destructive events. The Business Continuity System includes a disaster recovery facility, where the company can resume its operations within a predefined time frame following a disaster or other disruptive event.

The System allows for the on-time completion of the settlement of DIAS payments in TARGET2, the Real Time Gross Settlement System of the Eurosystem, even in cases of extremely disruptive events. The Business Continuity System of DIAS fully complies with the regulatory requirements, stemming from the Revised Oversight Framework for Retail Payment Systems of the European Central Bank.
