DIAS Direct Debit

The DIAS Direct Debit service allows consumers and other debtors to pay their bills and other financial obligations to organizations, businesses, the Greek Sate, social insurance funds and other public and private entities easily, securely and efficiently. The service works by debiting the payer's bank account and crediting the organization's bank account.

DIAS Direct Debit supports the SEPA Direct Debit Scheme the main message flow introduced by the European Payments Council (EPC), as part of which DIAS has implemented the Direct Debit Schemes: SEPA Direct Debit Core (SDD Core) and SEPA Direct Debit B2B (SDD B2B).

As a member of DIAS, the Payment Service Provider participates in DIAS DIRECT DEBIT service as a debtor bank and receives mandate and direct debit data. Optionally, the Payment Service Provider registers the business/organization for collection of debts by direct debit.
