Responsibilities
- Maintain and administer computer networks including Switches, Routers, and other physical hardware
- Install and configure network equipment to update or fix hardware or software issues
- Incorporate new network equipment within the existing infrastructure
- Monitor the whole network infrastructure and provide suggestions that will improve the overall network performance
- Communicate networking issues and problems with vendors, clients, and management
- Communicate network hardware issues and problems with vendors
- Fix software and hardware configuration issues on-demand or from inspection of the systems
- Ensure the availability of the whole network infrastructure and implement the best network security practices
- Design and implement new network features and solutions
- Network support of the Company’s Disaster Recovery site
- Maintain the internal cabling infrastructure (data and voice) and the company’s telephone center and telephony
Position Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or equivalent
- Desirable Postgraduate studies in Networking
- At least 5 years of professional experience as Network Engineer
- Cisco CCNP Enterprise
- Cisco Νexus 9000 series Network switches hands-on experience
- Advanced Routing (BGP, VRF, OSPF etc.) hands-on experience
- Excellent command of the English language, both written and oral
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Problem identification/resolution, performance tuning, architecture analysis and design
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Team player
